RECEIVE EVERYDAY COUNTS ATTENDANCE REPORT (Mrs. Clark)

The board will receive the Everyday Counts Attendance Report and recognize the school with the largest increase in ADA, Mojave Vista, and the school with the highest ADA, Sixth Street Prep School.

RECEIVE 2009-2010 CHARTER ADA AUDITS (Mrs. Betts)

The district's auditor, Jeff Nigro, CPA of Nigro & Nigro, has completed the 2009-2010 annual audit of ADA (average daily attendance) for Mountain View Montessori and Sixth Street Prep. Copies have been forwarded to the county and are available at the district office for review by any interested parties.

DISCUSS NUMBER OF MEMBERS ON CITIZENS OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE (Mrs. Gonzales)

ACT TO APPROVE NEW MEMBER FOR THE CITIZENS OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE (Mrs. Gonzales)

Park View parent, Juliet Cantrell, has submitted an application for the Citizens Oversight Committee. She would hold a role as "a parent/guardian with a VESD-enrolled child, active in PTO."

The recommended action is to approve Juliet Cantrell as a committee member as presented.

ACT TO APPROVE 2010/2011 CERTIFICATED RETIREMENT/RESIGNATION INCENTIVE PLANS (Mrs. Swearingen)

In consultation/negotiation with association representatives, the district has developed a retirement incentive plan for certificated employees. Included in the plan is a resignation incentive option for certificated employees with ten years at VESD.

The recommended action is to approve the 2010/2011 Certificated Retirement/Resignation Incentive Plans.

ACT TO APPROVE NEGOTIATED AGREEMENT WITH VICTOR ELEMENTARY TEACHERS ASSOCIATION (Mrs. Swearingen)

The Victor Elementary Teachers Association (VETA) and the district have agreed on a memorandum of understanding addressing Extended Leave of Absence. The agreement outlines eligibility, guidelines and timeline for unit members interested in taking an Extended Leave of Absence.

The recommended action is to approve agreement as presented.
