ACT TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 13-03, DECLARING THE WEEK OF MAY 19-25, 2013 AS CLASSIFIED SCHOOL EMPLOYEE WEEK (Dr. Stine)

The week of May 19-25, 2013, has been designated as Classified School Employee Week in California. To recognize the event locally, Victor Elementary School District will consider adopting a resolution to honor the contribution of the classified professionals of CSEA Chapter 236.

The recommended action is to approve Resolution 13-03 as presented.

ACT TO APPROVE THE SALE OF SURPLUS EQUIPMENT AND E-WASTE (Mr. Klopping)

The attached list is surplus equipment and electronic waste not needed by VESD. The total value of this property is less than $2,500.00.

The recommended action is to approve the list of surplus equipment and e-waste presented on the salvage list and designate Bill Klopping, director of technology, to dispose of this equipment in accordance with Administrative Regulation 3270.

ACT TO APPROVE COMMON CORE INSTRUCTIONAL COACH POSITIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION (Mrs. Mills)

Administration recommends approval of 4-5 positions for a Common Core Instructional Coach and the job description outlining the duties and responsibilities. These positions are on the certificated salary schedule. Administration also recommends these are one year temporary assignments for the 2013-2014 which could be extended an additional year pending the receipt of additional funding for Program Improvement.

The recommended action is to approve 4-5 Positions and the Job Description for Common Core Instructional Coach as presented.
